Vicki and I were delighted to be a part of the Taste of Christmas Event for ladies at First Baptist Church.  We signed lots of books and while we were there, we found out that our book, The Button Box, was a finalist for the 2016 National Best Book Award in the category of Hardcover Children’s Book Non-Fiction.  There was one winner in the category and three finalists.  We are so thrilled by this honor!
